Background
Fed up with electronic gadgetry and planned obsolescence, we got our start by hacking SRAM AXS derailleurs. We developed rebuild kits, custom tools, and rebuild instructions to fix common issues.
From there, we learned how to build a derailleur that is durable, rebuildable, configurable, and adjustable, which gave birth to our very own Jab derailleur. It works seamlessly on ton of drivetrains, delivers dialed shifting, and keeps your chain calm. Plus, you can re-configure it anytime.
Why We Do This
Every cyclist deserves a simple riding experience. Modern bicycle drivetrains have become too high tech, fussy, and unrepairable. They are high cost, and the ever changing (in)compatibility standards and planned obsolescence has detracted from the cycling experience. Irritating drivetrain noises, ghost shifts, dropped chains, and dead batteries have ruined rides, and even more frustrating - races.
The frustration of constantly battling these problems can be disheartening, creating a barrier between riders and adventures. As riders, we all intuitively get that it shouldn't be this way. Get your precious time on the trail back.
We are lifelong riders and racers of all cycling disciplines. We have deep experience in product development, manufacturing, and customer support. We are here to deliver drivetrains that offer empowerment to the cycling community, something that the large component manufacturers often overlook in their endless mission to one-up one another on technology, specs, and market share.
Each day, we go to work stoked, constantly finding better ways to rebuild derailleurs and support customers. We make updates easily available to people, and also make them backward compatible so your Jab will be relevant and high performance for years.
We've tested the heck out of the Jab for 2 years and received The Radavist 2025 derailleur of the year award. It is a testament to the literal blood, sweat, and tears that went into the 2 years it took to develop the Jab, and we are just getting started.
Our products are built to be used hard so riders are never denied an adventure. We also build long term relationships with people, and aim reduce waste while enhancing the wonderful experience of riding bikes.
Right to repair. Freedom to adapt. Live to ride.
