Clutch Kit for Jab Derailleur

Adjust or rebuild your Jab clutch. The Jab clutch is adjustable and serviceable with common tools. It is best to do this in a workshop (not on the trail) to prevent grit from getting into the clutch. Clean it, re-grease it, adjust it with shims, and you are good to go!

To adjust your clutch, you can add or remove shims from the stack (which has multiple 0.1mm shims stacked up). This adds or removes preload from the conical disc springs that apply friction to the cage.

The complete rebuild kit includes all the replacement parts you might need, but if you are just need to adjust your clutch you can get just the adjustment shims. 

Also, if you just need the adjustment shims, you can source them elsewhere from hardware sources like this. The specs are:

• Stainless steel ring shim
• 0.1mm thickness
• 8mm ID, 14mm OD

None of these parts are compatible with SRAM or Shimano derailleurs.
