Super Shims

Eliminate the play from your derailleur mounting bolt and immediately improve your shifting! This product is a great bang for your buck!

The kit uses the existing SRAM bolt (see compatibility below), and adds a shim and wave spring. The wave spring adds compression force to the assembly which removes the wiggle, while still allowing the derailleur to pivot about the bolt when needed. The o-rings are included to replace the SRAM ones in case they are damaged.

The kit includes:

• Small o-ring, QTY 2: 1mm thickness, 8.5mm ID, 10.5mm OD., 90 Shore A durometer.
  
• Large o-ring, QTY 1: 1.5mm thickness, 13mm ID, 16mm OD, 90 Shore A durometer.
  
• Stainless steel shim, QTY 1: 0.3mm thickness, 10mm ID, 16mm OD. 
  
• Stainless steel wave spring, QTY 1: 0.3mm thickness, ~10.5mm ID, ~15mm OD.

Sourcing tip:

You can also source these parts yourself from a hardware supplier of your choice. Just make sure to stick to the specs listed above, including o-ring durometer.

Compatibility:

• SRAM Eagle AXS: GX, X01, XX1
• SRAM Eagle mechanical: X01, XX1, Incompatible with GX, 11 speed, and road derailleurs.
