Cam Selection
The Jab derailleur is compatible with many modern 1x drivetrains!
How is this made possible?
There is a unique "cam" for each drivetrain type. Each cam controls the motion of the derailleur, matching the shifter index points to the cassette cog spacing.
Cam Options
We plan to offer as many cam options as possible. Developing a cam takes quite a bit of time, so we will prioritize releasing cams for the most common drivetrains first, which means SRAM and Shimano 12 and 11 speed MTB and gravel/road configurations.
For less common drivetrains, such as alternate cassettes (i.e. e13, Garbaruk, mismatched shifter/cassette combos) Campagnolo 1x, etc. we also plan to release cams, but the release will be spread out over time. We will do this so you do not have to settle for less than perfect shifting. Of course, the cassette shift ramps affect shifting performance, so we cannot affect that aspect.
Below is a table of options we will have available in the spring of 2025.
