Super Shims Retention

For the 2024 Super Shims, there was an issue with the total shim stack up being too thick, which caused the small B screw plate on the derailleur to come off too easily after the Super Shims were installed. This was annoying, but did not affect the function of the super shims or the reliability of your derailleur. 

In 2025 we fixed the issue by making a small adjustment to the Super Shims stack by removing the M10x0.3 flat shim. Actually, if you have the 2024 Super Shims installed, you can re-configure them to the 2025 Super Shims stack by removing this part. Note: This will not allow you to fit the old Super Shims on a GX cable actuated, or 11 speed derailleur.

Tip: For Configuration A, make sure you get the small o-ring the the correct groove on the mounting bolt, and make sure not to tear it when you install the small B screw plate.
