Super Shims

Eliminate the wiggle from your derailleur mounting bolt to improve your shifting and reduce drivetrain noise! This is a great bang for your buck! Check out the awesome ThunderStruckMTB review here!

How? The Super Shims fit in the SRAM mounting bolt assembly. They remove they wiggle and add compression force, while still allowing the derailleur to pivot on the bolt. Here is the installation guide.

Compatibility

SRAM has 2 different mounting bolt configurations for these derailleurs. We provide the parts needed for either type, but you will not need each part. 

Configuration A requires the small o-ring, wave spring, and large o-ring

• SRAM 12 speed Eagle AXS: GX, X01, XX1
• SRAM 12 speed Eagle mechanical: X01, XX1

Configuration B requires the star washer and large o-ring

• SRAM 12 speed Eagle mechanical: GX
• SRAM 11 speed MTB: GX, X01, XX1
• SRAM 11 speed road: Rival, Force

Specs

• Small O-Ring
  • 1mm thickness, 8.5mm ID, 10.5mm OD., 90 Shore A durometer
  • Used only on configuration A. Not required for configuration B.
• Large O-Ring
  • 1.5mm thickness, 13mm ID, 16mm OD, 90 Shore A durometer
    
  • Used on configuration A and B.
• Wave Spring
  • 0.3mm thickness, ~10.3mm ID, ~15mm OD
    
  • Used only on configuration A. Not required for configuration B.
• Star Washer
  • 9mm tooth ID, 14mm OD, black phosphate coated spring steel. 
    
  • Used only on configuration B. Not required for configuration A.
