These pulleys are made from fiber filled Delrin for low friction, quiet chain meshing, and long life. They both have a narrow/wide tooth profile for good chain meshing, retention, and shift performance.
The dust shields should be filled with grease to protect the bearings from water and grit. For the best performance and longest life, they should be cleaned and re-filled with grease periodically.
