The Jab Derailleur is built for mid-to-high-end bikes of all kinds - MTB, gravel, e-bikes, and even road and downhill. Whether you’re building a new ride or replacing a tired derailleur, the Jab is designed to integrate seamlessly into your drivetrain.
Precision: Crisp, confident shifts– even after heavy use.
Compatibility: Flawless performance with multiple drivetrains (MTB or drop bar, 9, 10, 11, or 12 speed). Long, medium, and short cage options are available as well. You can learn more about compatibility here.
Durability: Optional stiffening plate for mount (similar to "direct mount" derailleurs). Fully CNC machined aluminum and stainless steel parts, with material in all the right places.
Serviceability: Fully rebuildable with standard tools. Madrone offers each part and provides technical videos and articles for support.

Weight: About 280g for the long cage version. There will be a variety of cage options.
Colors: We plan to offer several color options, but will not be offering a rainbow of anodizing colors. We will always offer a mostly silver and mostly black version, as well as 1 or 2 popular color schemes, which may evolve seasonally.
