Jab Derailleur (Pre Order)
Madrone's very own "Jab" derailleur, named after the iconic Jabberwocky trail right here in Ashland, Oregon!

- Weight: 280g (long cage version). Medium and short cage versions available too.
-
Compatibility: Swappable cam for 9, 10, 11, or 12-speed drivetrains. Each cam is tuned to each gear for perfect shifting. We can pair any shifter with any cassette as long as the number of gears are equal. We already have cams for many drivetrain common configurations for MTB and drop bar style shifters, and we will continue to release new cams over time. The current list is:
- MTB: SRAM 12 and 11 speed, Shimano 12 and 11 speed, SRAM/e13 12 speed, Shimano/e13 12 speed.
- Drop Bar: Shimano 12 and 11 speed, SRAM 11 Speed.
- Others: More on the way for others such as 9 speed, unusual combinations, etc.
- Mounting types: There are 2 mounting types. One is a conventional derailleur hangar mount. The other uses a UDH hangar with an extra external plate to add strength and stiffness, similar to "direct mount" style derailleurs. You can convert between the 2 on the same derailleur.
- Colors: We plan to offer several color options, but will not be offering a rainbow of anodizing colors. We will always offer a mostly silver and mostly black version, as well as 1 or 2 popular color schemes, which may evolve seasonally. We will be polling people prior to determining color runs, so please follow us on Instagram or Facebook if you want to weigh in!
